The ALOGIC Ultra USB 3.0 Type A to Type A Extension Cable - Male to Female is mostly used to extend a USB 3.0 connection between a USB enabled peripheral like a Keyboard, Mouse, hard drive etc and a USB 3.0 port on a computer or a connected USB Hub. The cable supports super-fast USB 3.0 speed for data transfer at 4.8Gbps. The cable is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
