The roof mount thermostatically controlled 4 way fan unit is designed to eliminate heat within the rack generated by active equipment such as servers network switches storage area networks media converters and amplifiers. The fan helps to dispel the hot air generated by this equipment which may otherwise shorten the life of valuable electronic devices and/or reduce ongoing equipment performance when continually overheated without enough cooling. The thermostatically controlled fan can be set within a range of temperatures and the fans only turn on when the set temperature level is reached reducing use of power as they only operate as required and not continually in operation.
