SUNIX PTE1414 allows users to connect 34mm or 54mm wide ExpressCard to the desktop PC via PCI Express slot. It is compliant with PCI Express base specification vision 1.1 and supports both PCI Express and USB interface ExpressCard.With this board, users can easily connect to their desktop PC with a wide range of ExpressCard, such as GigaLan, Serial-ATA,FireWire IEEE1394, Bluetooth, Memory card reader ExpressCard.

ExpressCard Tutorial
ExpressCard, the next evolution of the PC Card, combines a smaller form factor and faster performance with the PC Card reliability and ease of use. It provides compact size and the interface has a potential transfer rate of up to 500 MB/sec (or 250 MB/sec in each direction) using a single-lane (or x1) PCI Express link.
